Good Friday.
After Jesus performed His miracle on the wedding, is now ready to go public. He’s starting to teach in public, heal sick people in public which cause attention to the crowd and also to authorities.
But what really called my attention here in this episode is those people in sick like the leper and the friends of the paralyzed man. Before they go to Jesus, they already have faith that Jesus can heal them and that He is their last resort. Indeed, when you come to the Lord with your pure faith, it will be surely granted. However, this is easier said than done. And I guess, that’s why Jesus always make sure on the Gospels, for all those He have healed, He make sure to mention that people were healed because of their faith, and not just the power alone in Jesus.
